Child Care Subsidy
Flying Start is approved by the Australian Government for Child Care Subsidy (CCS). Families apply for the Child Care Subsidy directly with Centrelink.

Start Strong Fee Relief
Flying Start Preschool is approved by the NSW Government for Start Strong Fee Relief. Families with eligible 3-year-old and 4-year-old children can opt to claim their Start Strong Fee Relief at Flying Start, by completing a Declaration Form during the enrolment process.

Child Care Management Software
Our Government approved Childcare Management Software is OWNA.
Bookings, attendances, statements/invoices and fee payments are all managed in OWNA.

Payment of Fees at Flying Start
Statements/Invoices are uploaded in OWNA each Tuesday for families to view.
Fees are charged two weeks in advance. Payment is by Direct Debit in OWNA each
Tuesday.
Types of Bookings at Flying Start
There are two types of bookings available with Flying Start Preschool & OSHC
Permanent bookings
Permanent bookings with our service secures a place that remains in place until cancelled.
You can request a permanent booking by email.
You can cancel a permanent booking by providing two weeks’ notice by email.
Casual bookings
Casual bookings are infrequent, occasional bookings. Casual bookings are subject to
vacancies at the service.
Families can check availability and make casual bookings via their OWNA App. If the desired session has no vacancies, families can click on the alarm icon and they will be alerted when a vacancy becomes available. Casual bookings have no cancellation period. Full fess less eligible CCS will apply.
Hours of Operation
- 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, School Terms, School Holidays and Pupil Free Days.
- Closed for NSW Public Holidays and two weeks during the Christmas and New Year Period.

Our local family-owned and operated early childhood education centre is embedded in the Kingscliff community.
Our Preschool, Before School, After School and School Holiday Programs operate from our purpose-built facilities located on the grounds of Anthony’s Primary School, Kingscliff NSW.
Our Flying Start Preschool offers flexible options for families. Bookings are available for School or long day hours. They can also book for our School Holiday Program.
Our Before School and After School programs are available for children attending both St Anthony's Primary School and Flying Start Preschool.
Our School Holiday program is available to all children attending a Primary School and our Flying Start Preschool families.
